BENEVOLENCE MINISTRY

benevolence ministry

The early church's example of benevolence is still probably the best example of how Christians should relate to one another, especially in the area of need. Book of Acts 4:32-37:

'All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. (33) With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all. (34) There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales (35) and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need'.

In the book of Acts in (9:36) there was a disciple named Tabitha (which, when translated, is Dorcas), who was always doing good and helping the poor.

At Rhema Aflame Ministries, we follow the examples of the early Church by emulating their good works. We ensure that we do not miss any opportunity to bless the needy in house or aboard. We participate in charitable giving in accordance with the leading of the Holy Spirit, and in particular, giving to the poor and needy in our society; individually as Christians and corporately as a Church. As a charity organisation and Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, our aim is to minister the Love of God to the needy by ministering to their needs both spiritually and materially

Everything we give to the needy is contributed by our gracious and blessed members of Rhema Aflame Ministries as the Lord provides for them. We will not turn down your gifts if you want to join hands with us to increase our benevolence givings and you will be greatly blessed.
